Churches gear up for nine days of prayer as part of Thy Kingdom Come

Churches across Devon are getting ready to play their part in the Archbishops’ global wave of prayer, Thy Kingdom Come, praying for more people to know God. The nine days of prayer begin on Ascension day, this Thursday 25 May, and culminate on Pentecost Sunday, 4 June. Bishop Robert is supporting the campaign to unite against dementia this week, as part of Dementia Awareness Week. The campaign is being run by the Alzheimer’s Society, which is urging people to ask their election candidates about their plans for supporting people with dementia.
