Bishop Nick to dedicate life-sized sculpture at Plymouth church

A sculpture of a life-size fisherman has been installed outside the historic church of St Andrew’s in the city centre of Plymouth. The huge sculpture is a figure in bronze resin of Andrew the Fisherman casting his net across the two pillars in front of St Andrew’s and Royal Parade. South Molton church at heart of North Devon’s relief effort for Grenfell Tower victims

St Mary Magdalene church in South Molton was the centre of a local response to the fire disaster at Grenfell Tower in London. It organised the collection and delivery of a van-load of food, clothing, toys and toiletries to the emergency centre in Kensington, which the Red Cross were delighted to receive. Art in the Aisles returned to All Saints’ Kenton

After an extremely successful event last year, Art in the Aisles returned to All Saint’ Kenton this year for a two day exhibition. The church became an Arts Centre and hosted exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and performances of work by local artists.   St Andrew’s CofE primary academy has been awarded ‘outstanding’ in its recent Church School Inspection.
