Building Financially Healthy Communities

Transforming Plymouth Together in partnership with the Financial Health Exchange and Church Urban Fund will be hosting: ‘Building Financially Healthy Communities,’ in Plymouth on 28th April 2017.

This event will bring together thought leaders from the financial health sector to discuss how we can help tackle financial health issues in our communities and deliver meaningful change.  The ‘Building Financially Health Communities’ event aims to integrate top practitioners in financial health and stimulate thought provoking discussion on how we can support households to deal with these pressures and build their financial health.

Confirmed guest speakers will include:

  • Colin Trend, Founder of Plymouth Focus and co-author of Money Advice Trust’s new vulnerability guidance for advice agencies.
  • Martyn Goss, Director of Church and Society for the Exeter Anglican Diocese and founding Director of the Exeter Pound
  • Sian Williams, Director of the Financial Health Exchange and Commissioner for the Financial Inclusion Commission

Interactive workshop activity will explore practical solutions to support our client groups by addressing specific challenges that organisations face when delivering financial health interventions.
