NSPCC – Neglect Briefing

This briefing by the NSPCC on childhood neglect would be very appropriate for those working with children and young people, and anyone that has a responsibility for Safeguarding.

Session Aim:

To raise awareness of neglect and support & advice available.

Session Objectives:

  • To highlight the local Neglect Matters campaign.
  • To encourage use of the NSPCC Helpline.
  • To increase understanding of signs, symptoms and impact of neglect.
  • To keep neglect at the forefront of professionals’ minds.

The intention is that those who attend will then cascade the briefing out to their teams as appropriate.
