Science and Christianity: Bridging the Imaginary Divide

This event aims to give church leaders added confidence in addressing issues in the relationship between science and the Christian faith and to provide access to helpful resources, including speakers, literature and other media.

This event aims to give RE and science teachers added confidence in addressing issues in the relationship between science and the Christian faith and to provide access to helpful resources, including speakers, literature and other media.

 

Both events will consist of presentations by members of the local branch of Christians in Science, followed by a talk on the science/Christianity debate given by Professor Sir Colin Humphreys, Director of Research, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge.

The events are funded by ‘Scientists in Congregations’, an initiative based at St. John’s College, Durham.
