Getting Here
The Diocesan offices are at the Old Deanery and are located next to the Cathedral.
By Car
Exeter is easily accessible via the M5, A30 and A38. Parking in the city centre is often difficult so, if you are able to, please use Park & Ride locations on the approaches to the city. Most Park and Ride buses run every 12 minutes during the day and city centre stops for these services are indicated on the map below by the following colours:
- Red - Honiton Road (M5 Jn29, A30E)
- Blue - Sowton (M5 Jn30, A376, A3052)
- Green - Matford (A38W, A30W, A379)
There is no visitor parking at the Old Deanery, for details about parking in Exeter, go the parking section of the Exeter City Council website. Public Transport
Exeter has two main-line rail stations, Exeter Central and Exeter St. David's. Exeter Central Station is a few minutes walk from the Diocesan Offices, whilst Exeter St David's Station is further away. Bus services H1 and H2 travel between the city centre and Exeter St David's Station. These buses all stop in the High Street and the stops are marked in yellow on the map below.
Most local bus services stop at the Exeter Bus and Coach station, which is a few minutes walk from the Old Deanery.
