Funding for Mission

Are you thinking of starting up a brand new initiative in your church in order to reach out to people in your community who currently don’t belong to the church?

If so, then your project may qualify for a small start-up grant to help you on your way.
Mustard Seed Grants are offered through the Mission Department of up to £500 for projects which are clearly about reaching out to people beyond current membership in new and creative ways. To qualify for funding there needs to be a clear hope that new people may be drawn into the life of the church family and faith in Jesus through the initiative.

Examples of initiatives that have received a Mustard Seed Grant this year have included Messy Church, Café Church, After School Kids Club, The Alpha Course, Pub outreach, Evangelistic events.
