What is being a Christian all about?

At the heart of Christian faith is the belief in a God who is all about relationship. Relationship is at the heart of God – being Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and God made people for a relationship with Him.

The Bible unpacks the story of this and God’s love for us. It all began with people experiencing God’s love and loving Him in return. But God’s people then consistently turned away from Him and got into a mess. God kept reaching out to us and in the end became one of us in Jesus, who came to rescue us.

Jesus, God himself, came and died for our mess and to restore our relationship with Him. He then rose again and is alive today so that we can live life in relationship with God.
