Church tent hospitality at Devon Show
Free tea, coffee and cakes, live music, a children’s play zone, bouncy castle, information stands and prayer area, are just some of the things on offer by churches at this year’s Devon County Show, running today until Saturday.
The Show is an agricultural show held annually in the third week of May at the Westpoint Arena and Showground in Clyst St Mary near Exeter. It is one of a number of county shows in the United Kingdom. The show is a celebration of rural life in Devon, and features country and livestock competitions, a grand parade, equine events, local food and local drink, traditional entertainment and rural crafts.
The Church Tent, with volunteers from all the different denominations, offers a space to relax and be refreshed.
