An “outstanding vicar” from the Diocese of Exeter has been appointed as the next Archdeacon of Gloucester. The Revd Preb Hilary Dawson, Rector of Holyford Mission Community based in Colyford, is to take up the role made vacant when the former archdeacon, Jackie Searle, was made Bishop of Crediton. Please pray for our new Readers who were licensed by Bishop Robert to work across the Diocese of Exeter at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday. The Revd Canon Becky Totterdell has announced her intention to step down from her role as Diocesan Director of Ordinands on 31 December 2018. Becky has been DDO since 2010 and over the past eight years has conscientiously guided countless people through the discernment process.
