The Rev’d Deborah Parsons is a Totnes team vicar and area Rural Dean and has recently taken on the new responsibility. New website to help Devon’s churches get funding

Devon’s Anglican churches will be able to use the new Church Grants database to search for possible funding for their building and community projects, following a collaboration between the Diocese of Exeter and the team behind Church Grants. The Bishop of Exeter is to lead a special requiem mass to mark the 650th anniversary of the death of his predecessor, Bishop John de Grandisson, the man who completed Exeter Cathedral and is still Devon’s longest serving Bishop. Women’s procession marks 25th anniversary celebration

More than 100 women priests from across Devon took part in a procession and service on 30 June to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first women being ordained. The procession, before the service, went across Cathedral Green and along Exeter High Street, including a brief stop-off at the Guildhall, where the women were welcomed by the Deputy Mayor.
