Transforming Plymouth Together has been awarded £9,100 in ‘National Lottery Awards for All’ funding to support its work across Plymouth. The charity which is a joint venture between Church Urban Fund and the Diocese of Exeter works in Plymouth with the support of all the churches in the city to help tackle poverty. The Bishop of Plymouth, The Rt Revd Nick McKinnel, has described events to mark the 75 anniversary of D-Day in Normandy as “immensely impressive” and “very moving”.
