Date: 8th September 2019
Venue: All around the country
Livability is inviting churches UK-wide to join together and mark out the September 8th 2019 for Ability Sunday – a special day in their community.
Ability Sunday is about running a day of inclusion and participation in your community, with special consideration for the needs of disabled people.
This year the reflections have been written by Steven Croft, Bishop of Oxford for Livability and the liturgy for the service by Revd Katie Tupling Disability Adviser for the Diocese of Oxford. These are free to participating churches who register with Livability. This year we are featuring a story of Simon Airdrie who lives in a Rainbow Living Supported Living Home for disabled people in Exeter. Rainbow living was established by local churches in Exeter. Livability is the care provider.
