Can resettlement work? Reducing reoffending, transforming lives

Date: 13th November 2019
Time: 6.30-8.30
Venue: South St Baptist Church’s Palace Gate Centre, 3 Palace Gate, Exeter EX1 1JA (off South St and behind the Cathedral).

Can resettlement work? Chris Parsons, Project Director of LandWorks in Dartington will tell us how they approach this task with prisoners, ex-prisoners and those on community sentences. Discussion will follow, including contributions from others who have local experience in related areas.

The charity’s strapline is: Reducing reoffending, transforming lives; they teach practical and life skills and give support towards employment and successful living. The charity has support from and links with the Dartington Trust, Channings Wood Prison and Plymouth University among many others.

All are welcome to this follow up to our 2018 Hope in Conflict event. No need to book, but it would be helpful if you let us know you’re coming. There is no charge, but we will request donations to defray expenses and in aid of Landworks and The Corrymeela Community.

Please join us and bring your friends. We look forward to seeing you!
