Exploring Vocation to Ministry

Date: 30th March 2019
Time: 10am-3pm
Venue: St Rita’s Conference Centre, Ottery Moor Lane, Honiton, Devon, EX14 1AP

Do you feel God might be calling you to a particular ministry? A sense that there is a path you need to explore, a door you need to push? Would you like an opportunity to reflect more on what a vocation to Church of England ministry could look like for you?

A day for anyone who is interested in exploring a vocation to ministry, whether you are interested in exploring licensed lay ministry, the ordained ministries of priest or deacon, becoming an evangelist or a pastoral assistant, or you just don’t know yet!

The day is led by Rev Hannah Alderson, Vocations Development  Officer for the Diocese. We will also be joined by a member of the Clergy and a Reader to tell us about their journeys to ministry.

It will be an opportunity for personal reflection on our own life journey, and prayer as we seek God’s call on our lives. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about ministries within the Church of England, including the process of selection for licensed and ordained ministry, and make links with the vocations team for further conversation.

For more information or to book please email Hannah or tel: 07546 397981.
