Chancellor of the Diocese

Once advice has been obtained on a proposal from the Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC), any faculty application is then determined by the Chancellor of the Diocese, Sir Andrew McFarlane. Very occasionally, where a case is contested, the Chancellor will produce a ‘Judgement’ setting out the case, and his decision.
