Help for young people
The Children’s Society have helpful advice and resources for young people during lockdown. These include coping with feelings of loneliness, anxiety, depression and the stress of feeling trapped at home.
Livewell South West have set up a 24/7 urgent mental health advice line that will enable young people, families, carers and professionals in Plymouth to access support during this lockdown period. It can help if your child is experiencing anxiety, stress or emotional distress. The telephone line will be covered by specialist mental health trained staff, who will be able to provide advice, support and sign posting to other relevant agencies. This Urgent Mental health Support telephone line is open now 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 01752 435122 for advice and support.
