One in four people experience a mental health problem at some point in their lifetime. This is as true for those in the church as anyone else. It can be hard to know how best to support those with mental health issues.

The following websites offer accessible support for parish teams, parents and carers.

Livability, The Mind and Soul Foundation and Premier Life have teamed up to provide this compact, free resource to:

  • equip you with knowledge and advice, from medical, psychological and theological perspectives
  • help you support those in your community who are struggling with mental health issues
  • help you to discuss issues and share ideas surrounding mental health and the church

The Mind and Soul Foundation – exploring Christianity and mental health. The website provides high quality resources to encourage, educate and equip the church and faith communities about mental health, combining good theology, good psychology and good medicine. See more at:

Premier Life is a new website aimed to help you live life to the full with its ups and downs. You will find helpful material and resources on a wide range of topics including some of the more difficult ones we face such as debt, bereavement and addictions. See more at:
