Contactless Giving Devices Give-away
Thank you for your interest in the contactless giving device give away. Applications have now closed. Look out for regular updates about the roll-out in Roots & Shoots and in our Generosity and Giving Facebook group.
We are delighted to be working with the national Church of England to give out 70 contactless giving devices to churches in Devon this year.
The devices have been provided to the diocese completely for free and will be offered to churches across a wide variety of contexts, including coastal and rural settings. We’ll be looking at whether your church is open during the week, whether you are already making use of the parish giving scheme, QR codes, and whether your church building has an internet or mobile data connection. The devices will be provided free of charge to successful applicants but there may be a cost to the parish to set up internet connectivity if this is not already in place.
This is part of a national campaign to increase the number of churches equipped with contactless giving machines. The devices can be used to invite more people to support the mission and ministry of your church, and to generate further interest in your fundraising projects.
Our Mission Enabler Jeremy Putnam headed out to three churches in the diocese to hear what difference having a contactless giving device has made to church plans.
The application process is now closed. Look out for regular updates about the roll-out in Roots & Shoots and in our Generosity and Giving Facebook group.
