The Parish Giving Scheme
The Parish Giving Scheme is a direct debit system that helps parishes in the Diocese of Exeter to manage their regular donations. Over 220 parishes are registered in our diocese and more than 2,800 donors give regularly to a parish through this scheme.
Donations can be made on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. The donation, including any Gift Aid, will be passed back to the parish’s bank account within the month. In this way, parishes benefit from an increased cash flow, and reduced administration. As a donor, you can choose to increase your gift annually in line with inflation. You can also choose to give anonymously.
If your parish is interested in registering for the scheme or would simply like to find out more please email Stephen Mitchell or telephone: 07889 564 102. A registration form can be downloaded here: PGS Registration Form + research questions.
New donors can now register by phone using your parish code and their bank details (0333 002 1271). See this Telephone service – launch announcement.
