Making new disciples
As well as those who want to know more about Christianity, Start! works well with baptism families, wedding contacts, bereaved families, parents of children and teenagers and those who are new to the church.
Each session lasts about 90 minutes and is based around short, lively DVD programmes – two per session. Down-to-earth ‘vox pop’ interviews and settings including Blackpool beach, a fun fair, shopping centre and a junk yard prompt lively discussion.
- There’s time to chat, interactive exercises and space for reflection – all in a style that aims to be honest and enjoyable.

The Alpha course and supporting materials is probably the most resourced resource available for any enquirer course. All the online material is free of charge and supporting hard copy publications are good quality and reasonably priced.

What is Puzzling Questions?
Puzzling Questions is a six week course that gives you an opportunity to explore some of life’s deeper questions.
As you journey through the course with others interested in reflecting on life’s conundrums, so you will have an opportunity to consider what you think and talk that through with others.
Questions covered on the course include:
Who am I?
What is God like?
What happens after death?
How can I be happy?
Why is there suffering in the world?
What is the spiritual realm and how does it impact my life?
Table Talk
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to have meaningful conversations with our family and friends about the issues that really matter in life?
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to get together around a table to talk, laugh, be understood and get to know another’s point of view?
Some of us will be better at this than others but often the problem is in knowing how to start.
The aim of Table Talk is to provide a safe place for people to begin to explore, articulate and engage in these kinds of conversations about the big and not so big questions of life.
The hope is that as you get together and play Table Talk, conversations will flourish, relationships will be built and strengthened and that you’ll have fun.
Soul Food
soul[food] is about offering people the opportunity to explore a variety of subjects in bite-sized thoughts sent straight to a phone or inbox.
Subscribers will receive an initial seven thoughts followed by an option to receive more.
