The development of leaders is an expectation of all Church schools and is explored as part of the SIAMS inspection process.
The Diocese offers support to governors free of charge to all schools filling senior leadership positions. This includes support through the interview process and the induction of new staff.
The Diocese in partnership with others run a range of other leadership development opportunities for established, new and aspiring school leaders. Details of which can be found in our Training and Events Prospectus.
Colleagues may also consider signing up to the Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership which offers a variety of programmes, networks (online, local and national) and research opportunities all aligned to the Church of England Vision for Education Deeply Christian, Serving the Common Good.
