House for duty (Associate Priest) Kentisbeare
We are seeking an ordained minister to work alongside the Rector to build up the mission and ministry of Kentisbeare and Blackborough, two rural parishes in the Culm Valley Mission Community in Mid Devon. We are looking for someone who enjoys village life; a team worker who is comfortable reaching out to people of all ages and backgrounds.
We are situated on the edge of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, an AONB, within easy reach of the M5. With the Rector, you will have particular responsibility for the parish of St Mary’s Kentisbeare, a vibrant friendly village.
This is a part time post and includes housing. It will include taking services on a Sunday plus the equivalent of working two days a week with the willingness to employ flexible hours. Kentisbeare is in the Diocese of Exeter, which is committed to growing in prayer, making more disciples and serving the people of Devon with joy.
