On the edge of the amazing Exmoor National Park, and within easy reach of the stunning coast and beaches of North Devon, this is a wonderful place to live and work. We have rain, snow and a lot of sun: but all weathers bring God’s gifts for a new Team Rector.

We seek an energetic leader, perhaps a first incumbent, to join our in-post, part-time vicar, for overall oversight of the Edgemoor Group, but with direct responsibilities for six parishes.

You will:

understand the joys and challenges of life in a large, rural Benefice;
relish being part of our communities, building relationships with people of all backgrounds, understandings and spiritualities;
adopt an innovative and original approach, focussing on growing the church in our communities;
lead our ten Parishes, encouraging unity and cooperation;
be a real team player, supporting lay-leaders and delegating responsibilities to build a strong, united Ministry-team;
help us develop worship to meet the needs of our Parishes and seize opportunities for new growth.
