Clergy
House for duty (associate priest) for St Andrew’s Church Tiverton
We are seeking an ordained minister to work with the incumbent of St Peter’s, Tiverton, to develop the mission and ministry of St Andrew’s, Tiverton. The ideal candidate enjoys inclusive Anglo-Catholic worship and is a team player who seeks to be a missional leader who inspires, encourages and enables others.
St Andrew’s, Tiverton is in the eastern part of the town, with most of its area lying between the A361 and the Grand Western Canal. Our modern church, build in the early 1970s, is about a mile from the town centre, close to Blundells School and the new eastern extension to the town.
We seek to work together with the other churches in our Benefice and Mission Community, supporting one another while allowing each church to retain its own particular tradition and identity.
This is a part-time post based on a house-for-duty arrangement. This is shaped around Sunday services plus the equivalent of working two days a week.
