House for Duty Team Vicar in the Two Rivers Mission Community
Closing date for applications: 12:00pm on 28th February 2025
Interview date: 25-26 March 2025
“Called by God to build a Christian community in each village, which will worship, pray, grow and reach out with the Gospel”
Do you believe that each small rural community deserves a lively, fully functioning church? Do you believe that God’s heart is to raise up his people, where they live, to be that church? Then might God be calling you to join us?
We are looking to appoint a house for duty priest (two days per week plus Sundays) who:
- based in the parish of Tawstock, will help the congregation to fulfil its God-given potential, and personally minister to the local church school and those who come for life events.
- as part of the leadership team, will encourage other team members, lead on life events, and offer ministry according to your gifts and calling.
You will be:
- A person with a lively, infectious Christian faith, rooted in Scripture and the Spirit, full of faith, hope and love.
- Have a love for the local church; seeing it as a Christian community called by Jesus to love and witness to the wider community; a passion to see churches grow and flourish.
- Be experienced at helping people of all ages find faith in Jesus and grow as disciples
