The Benefice brings together beautiful moorland and the vibrancy of suburban housing development. There is a good selection of local schools, colleges and universities within easy reach.
We are looking for someone who –
- Can bring dynamism and compassion; leading the church family sensitively and reinvigorating an enthusiastic team
- Will reestablish worship based at one of the local schools
- Will be a visible presence within our wider communities, including pastoral outreach and developing youth and family outreach.
- Has strong interpersonal skills, is compassionate and approachable with parishioners of all ages
- Is comfortable worshipping in a variety of styles; both contemporary and traditional
- We offer –
- A full-time stipendiary post and 5-bedroom house
- Two lay ministers and an experienced team of volunteers
