PARISH OF ILSINGTON ASSOCIATE MINISTER House-for-Duty

Closing date for applications: 24th November 2021

Interview date: 7th & 8th December 2021

Ilsington is a friendly, thriving village on the flank of Dartmoor in an iconic Devon landscape, near the A38 midway between Exeter and Plymouth. We seek a colleague to work with the Priest-in-Charge, taking day-to-day responsibility for worship and pastoral care in the parish, who will…
• relish teaching the faith and enabling lay workers
• understand the importance of outreach and mission
• enjoy working within our local Church of England primary schools
• be able and happy to work with others
Consultations are underway for the parish of Ilsington to join the neighbouring Ashburton & Moorland Team. In that case, it is expected that the associate minister will become house-for-duty Team Vicar with continuing primary pastoral care of Ilsington.
For a conversation about the post, please contact the Right Revd Mark Rylands, Rector in the Ashburton & Moorland Team Ministry and Priest-in-Charge of Ilsington, on (01364) 716309 or mark.rylands@mmuk.net
