Vicar for Holy Trinity Barnstaple and Goodleigh United Church
Closing date for applications: 12th March 2020
Interview date: Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd April 2020
Are you looking for an opportunity to serve in churches that are alive, growing and open to God’s Spirit?
Do you believe that prayer is at the heart of all we do?
And do you seek intimacy with God through a rich devotional life?
Then we could be the churches for you!
Despite our different contexts (town and country in North Devon) and different sizes (202 and 36 ASA) we have a great relationship. Our two churches have the same heart – to live for Jesus in our communities, welcoming everyone and delighting in seeing people come to faith and subsequently growing in their love for Jesus.
Holy Trinity is a lively, charismatic evangelical church engaged in a wide range of mission activities.
Goodleigh Church is a thriving village church with the exciting prospect of a radical re-ordering of the building which will help outreach into the local community including the village school.
We are looking for someone who is able to take these two churches forward. We would like to offer you a place in our worshipping communities, envisioning, empowering and equipping us to become more like Jesus and to see his kingdom come.
The right candidate will have had significant levels of church leadership and ordained experience.
