Easter Photo and Video Competition 2021: ‘Bursting with Life’

People of all ages were asked to take and send in a photo or video of what God’s creation says to them about hope and faith.

Here are the 6 photo competition winners of 2021:

‘Look at This’ by Ben Slater
“My son brought me a stone saying, “Look at this!” I couldn’t see anything until I looked much closer. There was this tiny plant – no more than 3mm across – growing in a crack in the stone. A great Easter reminder – stones cannot stop new life.”

‘Twin Lambs’ by Debroah Asbridge

The Devon countryside is just bursting with life, and this photo of these adorable twin lambs was taken at Burns Hall Farm on one of our walks around the village of Chillaton.

‘Hapbee!’ by Hannah Banks
“I think it represents ‘Bursting with Life’ as I think it looks like it’s smiling, sat on a garden trowel with a primrose in the background.”

‘Plymouth Hoe’ by David Cunningham
“if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” [2 Corinthians 5:17]

‘Dancing Daffodils’ by Tracey Adams

‘Tulips’ by Sue Jeacock

“My spirits were lifted on my daily exercise with this wonderful bank of tulips – not exactly a rainbow, but I sang ‘Who put the colours in the rainbow?’ to myself all the way home.”

Anna Maddocks aged 10 made and sent in this stunning video with the caption, “Nature is bursting into life with all its glory.  We are blessed with such beauty around us.”’
