Further Degrees Policy

Clergy are encouraged to develop their academic abilities in the service of our shared mission and ministry. The bishops will support this where some fundamentals of parish ministry are already in place, and where they are reassured that the clergy person has the capacity to take on further study without undermining their parish ministry or personal wellbeing.
