Listed below are some trusts and foundations which offer grants and scholarships to support you.
St Wilfrid’s Trust
St Wilfrid’s Trust is currently able to make one-off awards in line with the objectives of the Trust. These include the promotion of Christian education of children and young people in the Diocese of Exeter. Applications for grants are open throughout the year.

St Luke’s Farmington Scholarships
The application process for the Farmington Scholarships has opened. The scholarships are for teachers of Religious Education in UK secondary schools and primary school RE Co-ordinators, or other primary school teachers involved in teaching RE and associated subjects. Church Times Green Awards 2024 – Open to church schools
The Church Times has launched the 2024 Green Church Awards in recognition of the urgent environmental crisis and the efforts being made by Christian organisations and communities, churches and church schools, of all denominations, to care for creation. There are seven award categories including:
- Land and nature award: projects creating space for wildlife and encourage biodiversity. Prize: £1000.
- Congregation and community action: projects where a church, school, or other group has taken a leading part in environmental action, benefiting the wider community as well as its own. Prize: £1000.
- Action on a shoestring award: projects where a church, school, or other group has achieved a great deal with a little. Prize: £1000.
