Bishop of Exeter to have Operation
The Bishop of Exeter is to undergo surgery this week for a health condition.
The Rt Rev’d Robert Atwell is expected to be away from work for several weeks as he recovers from the operation.
During his convalescence, the Bishop of Crediton, the Rt Rev’d Jackie Searle, and other members of the Diocese of Exeter senior clergy team, will carry out his duties on his behalf.
Bishop Robert looks forward to returning to work as soon as possible.
Our prayers are with him for a full and swift recovery.
