About the North Dartmoor Parishes
The North Dartmoor Parishes has a large number of children and young people within the ten parishes of the North Dartmoor Parishes, and they are committed to helping them explore the Christian faith and grow spiritually.
All four primary schools welcome involvement from the churches, and their congregations regularly host family-friendly services and activities, including family services, Christingles, toddler groups and seasonal events. The Diocese of Exeter has also identified engagement with children and young people as a key priority.
To build on these relationships, they are seeking to appoint a committed Christian with a passion for children, young people and families to support and develop this important area of ministry.
Purpose of the Role
To encourage and nurture the spiritual lives of children, young people and families across the North Dartmoor Parishes by developing relationships, supporting church initiatives and creating opportunities for engagement with the Christian faith.
