The Bishop of Exeter, the Rt. Rev’d Dr Mike Harrison, began his first Easter Sunday in Devon with a Sunrise Easter Service at Exeter Cathedral. Francis dedicated his life to the service of his Lord and Church and he was a friend to many different denominations including the Anglican Church. Bishop of Exeter Leads First Maundy Thursday Chrism Service at Exeter Cathedral
The new Bishop of Exeter, the Rt. Rev’d Dr Mike Harrison, has led his first Maundy Thursday Chrism Eucharist service at Exeter Cathedral. The service gets its name from the Chrism oils, used for anointing the sick and for baptism. Donkey to Help bring Bible Story to Life at Palm Sunday Service
One special animal will play an important role this Palm Sunday at an interactive church service in Devon. Issachar the donkey will lead a procession through the town of Bradninch to St Disen’s Church, and he will be followed by the church congregation and local community.
