Do you long to see children and families on Dartmoor connect with God and grow in faith?
The Ashburton and Moorland Mission Community is seeking a creative, relational and well-organised Family and Youth Worker to join their ministry team serving the lively town of Ashburton and its surrounding villages. They are looking for someone to co-ordinate their regular children and families’ provision, make new community connections, identify new missional opportunities and grow their team of volunteers.
They have a growing number of children, young people and families regularly attending their Sunday services, Hedgehogs toddler group, Moor and Messy fresh expression, Breakfast Church, summer holiday club and outreach events like pancake day, pumpkin praise and farm nativity. They are also building their schools’ ministry through Open the Book, collective worship and the Upbeat music project.
They can see God at work and are looking for the right person to lead their children and families’ ministry forward at this exciting time.
