Mission community ready for growth needs new Team Rector!
The Axe Valley Mission Community is looking for a new Rector who will seize the opportunities for ministry and mission in a town and wider area with a rapidly growing population, with many new families moving in.
The Mission Community is based around the Minster town of Axminster, once famous for carpets, but now a growing town with excellent transport links to London and Exeter. The Mission Community includes seven other faithful and supportive churches in rural and coastal communities, which border the popular seaside towns of the Jurassic Coast.
Are you someone who can see opportunities to build connections and serve the community in all sorts of surprising places? Will you join us in taking risks to bring about God’s kingdom here and now? We are committed to working in partnership with others to support our communities and these partnerships are bearing fruit in wonderful ways already!
We can offer:
- A supportive and collaborative team
- A team administrator to support your ministry
- Three church schools committed to being part of the Christian community
- An Anna Chaplaincy team
