Team Rector of Ashburton and Moorland Mission Community

We are seeking a creative, collaborative, dynamic and Christ-centred Team Rector who will lead us in the next chapter of our vision to be God’s people, sharing His mission.

We are a united Mission Community of nine churches on the southern edge of beautiful Dartmoor with easy access to Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay. We truly reflect the broad spectrum of the 21^st century Church of England and seek to be a welcoming multi-generational Christian presence at the heart of our communities. Our parishes include villages full of community life, and the vibrant, historic town of Ashburton.

We embrace different ways of being and doing Church, cherishing both traditional and contemporary forms of worship and fresh expressions. We are also in a covenant partnership with our local Methodist churches.

We can offer you an experienced ministry team and enthusiastic volunteers to work with. We have an established programme of engagement with children, families and schools, and care for the elderly and vulnerable through our team of Anna Chaplains and more.

We are looking for a mission enabler, discipleship deepener, community engager, biblical teacher, pastoral leader, hope-filled preacher, people-reacher, Kingdom seeker …. will you join us?
