The social media influencer Inspector Organ, was one of a number of inspiring speakers at the first Living Stones Live event at Abbotsbury church in Newton Abbot recently. Following our Bubble Church training day in March we have seen Bubble Church growing across the Diocese, with many more planned for launch in September. Bubble Church is a Sunday church service especially for babies, toddlers, and young families. It’s a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled, 30 minute kids and families adventure. Sunday 10 May was the National Day of Remembrance for Fishermen and Helen Lovell-Smith, from the Fishermen’s Mission and Rev’d Philippa Bellows, Team Rector of Brixham Mission Community, led a service on Brixham quayside to commemorate those lost from the local fishing community. The Rev’d Jo Stobart, currently Chaplain to the Bishop of Exeter, is to be the next Archdeacon of Wells in the Diocese of Bath and Wells. Dozens of motorcyclists from across the South West gathered outside Exeter Cathedral on Sunday 10 May for its first ever Blessing of the Bikes ceremony.
