Cranbrook Church has recently appointed a new Inclusion Champion, Cath Maggs. Cath is passionate about inclusion; she has served on various teams in churches, and is qualified Occupational Therapist , where empowerment and independence are core values of the profession. New Rural Church Officer appointed to help our rural churches grow
The Diocese of Exeter is building on its Growing the Rural Church project by appointing the county’s first Rural Church Officer and setting-up a new Rural Hub. New Bishop of Exeter’s Service of Welcome and Installation on 2 November
The Rt. Rev’d Dr Mike Harrison will be installed as the new Bishop of Exeter at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 2 November. Event to celebrate 30th anniversary of first women priests
Some of the first women to be ordained as priests in the Church of England have taken part in a celebration to mark the 30th anniversary of the ordination of women to the priesthood. Handmade Wildflower Meadow at Devon Church Highlights Mental Health and Wellbeing
A beautiful meadow of over 7000 handmade flowers has gone on display St Peter’s Church, Dowland, to help raise awareness of mental wellbeing. ‘Meadowland’ is a colourful display both inside and outside the church. The flowers have been individually handmade using a variety of materials, including wool, paper, wood, fabric and metal, by people of all ages in the community.
