Torquay Youth Group Transforms Church Boiler Room into 24/7 Prayer Space
A church youth group from Torquay has helped transform a disused boiler room in the church building into a prayer space. The room in the basement of St Mags church in the town centre had been disused for a number of years. 18 Churches Get Green Light for Give 2 Go Green Scheme
18 churches have been successful in their applications in a new Church of England project called Give 2 Go Green. Give 2 Go Green is a new grant fund which helps churches install measures that reduce their carbon emissions. Churches in Devon are being warned to be on the alert for an email scam in which fake emails are being sent out which look like they are from a bishop or the local vicar.
