The Yealm and Erme Mission Community (comprising the parishes of Brixton, Newton Ferrers, Revelstoke, Wembury, Yealmpton and Holbeton) is located on the Western side of the South Hams; a beautiful, predominately rural, part of South Devon with a good selection of local schools, colleges and universities within easy reach.

We are looking for someone who –

  • Will lead the development of our Mission Community and continue to strengthen the bonds between the individual parishes
  • Will establish a visible presence within our wider communities, including those who do not worship regularly
  • Has strong interpersonal skills, is compassionate and approachable with parishioners of all ages
  • Will help us grow and maintain momentum leading to a vibrant and outward looking church
  • Can respect the differing styles of worship in each Parish

  • A strong team of Team Vicar, retired clergy, a licensed Lay Minister and lay leaders
