Celebrating ‘Unsung Heroes of the Church’ as New Lay Ministers are Licensed at Exeter Cathedral
The Bishop of Plymouth has licensed seven new Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) to serve in parishes across Devon. The ceremony took place during the annual Licensed Lay Ministry celebration service at Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 7 October at which LLMs (historically known as Readers) from across the county were gathered, wearing their distinctive blue scarves. Bishop of Plymouth Challenged by Visit to Exeter Prison Sunday Services
The Bishop of Plymouth has visited Exeter Prison ahead of Prisons Week, which runs from 8 to 14 October. Fourteen new priests have been ordained at churches across Devon. The Bishop of Crediton, the Rt. Rev’d Jackie Searle, ordained Rev’d Hazel Britton, Rev’d Elizabeth Burren, Rev’d Adrian Butland, Rev’d Daniel Miles and Rev’d Michelle Mounoury in a service at St Michael’s Church in Teignmouth. Archbishop of Canterbury Invites People in Devon to ‘Come and See’ over Remembrance Weekend

Tributes Paid to Bishop of Exeter at Farewell Service
Tributes have been paid to the Bishop of Exeter in a moving farewell service at Exeter Cathedral. The Rt.
