The Consecration and Installation of the New Bishop of Exeter

We are looking forward to welcoming the new Bishop of Crediton, Moira Astin, to her new role at the beginning of July. Here are the details of two services which you are all invited to attend:

Consecration of the new Bishop of Crediton
11am, Thursday 3 July, St Paul’s Cathedral, London

The Venerable Moira Astin will be consecrated a bishop by the Bishop of London at St Paul’s Cathedral on 3 July. Anyone who would like to attend this service at which Archdeacon Moira will be consecrated a bishop is welcome to do so.

New Bishop of Crediton Welcome Service
4pm, Sunday 6 July, Exeter Cathedral

The new Bishop Moira will be installed as the Suffragen Bishop of Crediton at a service of Installation and Welcome at Exeter Cathedral on Sunday 6 July. We would love as many people as possible to come to the service to welcome Moira and her family to the diocese. You do not need to book a ticket, just turn up! All licensed clergy, PTO clergy and LLMs should have received an invitation to the service via email. Please could you RSVP to Tina Robbens by 27 June so we know numbers attending for catering purposes. Clergy and LLMs are invited to robe and process into the service.
