Faith Empowered Course for Evangelists

Faith Empowered is a course developed and delivered by the Church Army. This resource is already being used in dioceses across the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand, and has proven to be transformative in both confidence and capability. The course consists of 10 sessions, combining theological reflection, practical training, and spiritual formation. Participants gather together, reflect on Scripture, explore themes in mission and evangelism, and pray for one another—forming a strong and supportive cohort.

Briefing Paper for the Guild of Evangelists

Being a disciple and becoming an evangelist.

The Diocese of Exeter is partnering with a variety of well established organisations to help equip and enable the local church and individuals for mission. We hope that through the delivery of high quality training, tried and tested resources, and mission funding, local commissioned leaders and volunteers will feel supported and valued by the church today. The Lay Commissioned Evangelist is a role that encourages individuals in their sense of vocation and their church community in its commitment to sharing the Good News. Evangelism is for every disciple of Jesus, but some have a call to lead and to encourage others in particular forms of evangelism.

You can find out more by looking at the Commissioned Roles webpage.
