Churchwarden training days

Training sessions are held for Churchwardens every year.

What happens in the training sessions?

These will be led by the Archdeacons, with training provided by diocesan staff from different departments. The training is primarily aimed at those who are relatively new to their post, to provide a basic introduction to the role and responsibilities of the Churchwarden, but anyone is welcome to attend.

– Learning and Discipleship
– Giving
– Mission Community Development
– Changing Your Church
– Human Resources and Safeguarding Support
– Data Protection
– Growing the Rural Church

October Training Sessions

There will be training sessions happening on Thursday 13th October at St Peter’s Church, Tiverton (9:30-12:30) and on Wednesday 19th October at Bishops Tawton Church (18:30-21:30).
